Pyrolysis will not start

What This Means

When attempting to start pyrolytic self-cleaning, a symbol flashes on the display (door or probe icon) and the pyrolysis cycle does not begin.

🔧 How to Fix

  1. Check that the oven door is fully closed.
  2. Remove the meat probe / core temperature probe from the oven.
  3. Remove all loose accessories (wire rack, rotary spit, baking stone, etc.) from the oven.
  4. Remove coarse soiling and food remains from the oven interior.
  5. Try starting the pyrolysis again.
