SYMPTOM

Check water intake and empty the water container

Appliance: Miele Coffee Machine Models: CVA 7845, CVA 7775, CVA 7875

What This Means

The mains/plumbed water supply is not working. This appears on models with a DirectWater (plumbed) connection when the water supply is interrupted or the intake hose is kinked.

🔧 How to Fix

  1. Check whether the water inlet/intake hose is kinked.
  2. Verify the stopcock/water supply valve is fully turned on.
  3. Remove the water container and empty it.
  4. Insert the empty water container back into the coffee machine.
  5. The display will show 'Please wait. Water container filling.' and the container will fill automatically.
  6. To turn off the plumbed-water connection: fill and insert the water container manually, then select Settings > Mains water (or Main Water) > Off.
Test Specifications
Water connection pressure: 100--1,000 kPa (14.5--145 psi / 1--10 bar)
Stainless steel hose length: 1.5 m (supplied)
