The refrigerator or freezer door swings open too quickly and strikes adjacent walls or surrounding cabinetry.

🔧 How to Fix

  1. The unit may not be leveled properly. Check and adjust the unit's level.
  2. Install a door stop kit to limit the door opening angle. Models 611, 611G, 650, and 650G come with a door stop kit shipped in a plastic bag in the grille area.
  3. For models 601R, 601RG, 601F, 661, 642, 685, 632, and 695, optional 90-degree or 105-degree door stop kits are available through your Sub-Zero dealer.
  4. Contact your Sub-Zero dealer for details on door stop kits.
