⚠ What This Means
Excessive frost or ice buildup is present inside the refrigerator and/or freezer section.
🔧 How to Fix
- Check if a door or drawer has been left open for an extended period. Ensure food is not obstructing proper door or drawer closing.
- Verify that all doors and drawers are closing and sealing properly. Check the four-sided magnetic gaskets.
- If doors are not adjusted properly, contact your Sub-Zero dealer for door adjustment.
- Note: when opening the freezer drawer on models 611, 611G, 650, and 650G, a side-to-side motion in the drawer is normal (built-in tolerance in drawer slides). The drawer will automatically adjust and close with correct alignment.
- If frost persists and doors are sealing properly, the automatic defrost system may need service. Call Sub-Zero Customer Service at 800-222-7820.
