⚠ What This Means
Ice crescents have become lodged in the ice chute, blocking ice delivery from the freezer ice bucket to the glasswell dispenser in the door. Applies to Models 685 and 695.
🔧 How to Fix
- Remove the adjacent refrigerator shelves to access the side panel.
- Remove the screw in the lower left corner of the side panel.
- Hold the bottom of the side panel and push rearward, then pull out.
- The ice chute (a clear plastic housing) will be visible once the panel is removed.
- To remove the side cover of the ice chute, press the two side locking tabs, then pull up and out.
- Clear any lodged ice crescents from the chute.
- To reinstall: install the bottom section of the ice chute first, then fit the outside front cover lip inside the stationary portion. Push the two assemblies together and close the self-locking tabs.
- Reinstall the side panel and shelves.
