The ICE indicator light is not illuminated in the Control Center display panel. This means the ice maker system is turned off.

🔧 How to Fix

  1. Press the ICE ON/OFF key pad on the Control Center to activate the ice maker.
  2. Verify that the ICE indicator light becomes illuminated in the display panel.
  3. Ensure the ice bucket is properly positioned in the freezer (the ice maker will not operate if the bucket is not in place on models 601F, 611, 611G, 650, 650G, 661, 642, 685, 632, and 695).
  4. After initial startup, discard the first few batches of ice as they may be discolored by new system plumbing.
