⚠ What This Means
The refrigerator and/or freezer section is completely non-operational. No compressor noise, no fan noise, and no cooling.
🔧 How to Fix
- Verify there is electrical power to the unit: check that the power cord is plugged in securely.
- Check the home circuit breaker or fuse to ensure it has not been blown or tripped.
- Check the Control Center display: if OFF is shown, press the UNIT ON/OFF key pad to turn the unit on.
- Verify the refrigerator/freezer control is set (not turned off).
- Check if the condenser area is clean -- a clogged condenser can cause the unit to shut down.
- Check if a door or drawer has been left open for an extended period. Ensure food is not obstructing proper door or drawer closing.
- If the unit is still not running, it may be in its automatic defrost cycle. Wait 30 minutes and try to restart.
- If the unit still does not start after 30 minutes, call Sub-Zero Customer Service at 800-222-7820.
