The door alarm beeps continuously even with doors/drawers closed, or reactivates itself. Usually caused by a faulty door sensor, reed switch, or a power outage resetting the alarm to ON.
| Possible Cause | How to Fix |
|---|---|
| Alarm ON with doors shut — faulty door sensor or reed switch | Check 115V across P7 & P5 at control board with doors closed. If 115V present, repair wiring or replace door sensor/reed switch. |
| Alarm reactivates itself after being silenced | The alarm defaults to ON after a power outage or voltage spike. Press ALARM key to silence. |
| Door open longer than 15 seconds | Normal behavior. Close door or press ALARM to silence. |

If doors are closed, the door sensor or reed switch may be faulty. Check for 115V across P7 & P5 at the control board. If voltage is present with doors closed, the sensor needs replacement.
Press the ALARM button on the control panel. Note that the alarm defaults to ON after any power outage.
