In Extended Bake (Sabbath Mode), the oven follows a repeating 22-minute cycle with specific light patterns that may be mistaken for an error. During the last 2 minutes of the 19-minute Active Phase, the OVEN ON and PREHEATING lights blink slowly (3 seconds on, 3 seconds off) as a notice. When the blinking stops (both lights remain on), a 3-minute Access Phase begins where heating elements are off, allowing the Sabbath user to access the oven. On Pro Grand models, Sabbath Mode is set via the digital display with durations of 26, 50, or 74 hours.
| Possible Cause | How to Fix |
|---|---|
| OVEN ON + PREHEATING lights blinking (3s on / 3s off) | This is normal Sabbath Mode behavior. The blinking signals the end of the Active Phase, not an error. |
| Oven appears dead after power outage during Sabbath Mode (Pro Grand) | After a power outage, the unit returns to a disabled state. All elements and lights are deactivated until knobs are turned to OFF and the unit is reset. Opening the door will have no effect. |

The blinking lights (3 seconds on, 3 seconds off) signal the last 2 minutes of the Active Phase. When they stop blinking (both lights stay on), you have a 3-minute Access Phase to open the oven without affecting its operation.
On Pro Harmony: Turn the Mode Selector Knob away from EXTENDED BAKE. On Pro Grand: Press CANCEL on the oven display.
On Pro Grand models, the unit returns to a disabled state after a power outage. All elements and lights are off. Turn all knobs to OFF and reset the unit to resume normal operation.
